I would like information from you on the effects of starvation on humans, if you have a short essay of this in layman terms.
I have witnessed, “up close and personal,” starvation in Africa.
I would appreciate any information that would be of benefit as to how people can condition themselves for a lower threshold of sustainable amounts of food necessary and how to avoid killing themselves when eating sufficient food that breaks a total fast of the body.
I intend to put it in my new book, The Civil Defense Primer.

Thank you Dr Fung. Your books are the best. I come from a long line of diabetics type 2. I am pretty sure I was pre diabetic despite trying to eat healthy. I started intermittent fasting January 1, 2018. It’s been the best thing I have done for my health. I feel better at 56 years old with intermittent fasting than I did in my 30’s.
