I was hoping there would be a brand name of magnesium supplement! I don’t expect you to “advertise” it but a range of name brands would have been helpful. There is a ton of info that you have shared but not reliable info on the product.
I take Magnesium Breakthrough my Bioptomizers. It contains all seven forms of magnesium. As for absorbability, I have regular bloodwork and my formerly low magnesium is now at the upper end of normal range.
I have been recommended magnesium malate. I already take the glyicinate.
Is malate any good?

I don't have a preferred brand
If the magnesium level is “normal,” what is the clinical relevance and should magnesium still be supplemented?
Dosage of magnesium oxide?
IMHO: For that sort of thing, join Consumer Labs. They test what's in a supplement and also point you to valid studies.
Jason can't do everything, though he's been the main person to save my health!

I use this brand of magnesium glycinate: https://a.co/d/b9QuPGn
I take 4 tablets daily which adds up to 360 grams of elemental magnesium.
How about magnesium taurate?
Agreed, a few suggestions would be very helpful. There are so many, very confusing.
