I have a friend who has been a diabetic for a long time. (Insulin.) Now she has kidney problems. Does diabetic-related kidney disease also reverse if the person does all that Dr Fung recommends?

Well written and a clear case to eradicate type-2 diabetes.

All News media should spread the msg that type-2 diabetes can go in remission without medication but by changing diet and lifestyle.

Nicotine, alcohol and sugar.

Nicotine isn't the issue, neither is tobacco. It's the tons of chemicals and pesticide residue that make cigarettes bad.

Lung cancer isn't a problem with native tribes that smoke tobacco.

Addiction was the point sir.

Your book, 'The Diabetes Code', is now with its fourth patient, here in México. Many thanks for selling it in Spanish! Diabetes and PCOS are alarmingly common here.

True remission of T2D must include body recomposition while you are working to restore your blood glucose & insulin sensitivity back to normal levels. As Dr Ted Naiman often says ‘Everyone should be striving to maximize their lean body mass while minimizing their excess body fat mass.’ Optimal bf ranges: Men: 11-15%, Women: 18-22%

Just more Substack horseshit. Waste my time reading how diabetes can be reversed but then I have to pay you money to find out how.

Well I don’t trust you. If you had a realistic cure you would already be rich and working on your tenth best selling book on Amazon.

I feel compelled to reply to this false accusation, since I have been in remission for more than six months. Losing 100 pounds, low carb, emphasis on fiber and protein, exercise, have all contributed. (Many more strategies, prayer, persistence, yes, all of those.) I really think that doctors do not push what works—fasting, exercise and diet—because they are resigned to thinking that their patients just won’t do the required work. Yes, most won’t. But there are some, who watch acquaintances lose their eyesight, their feet, or suffer horrible neuropathy, who develop a healthy fear of diabetes and resolve to take whatever training, insight, discipline the remission requires.

For those who hesitate at the prospect of wearing CGMs (Continuous Glucose Monitors), investing in an affordable over-the-counter basic fingerstick device (for example, the Agamatrix Presto, or Walmart's brand, etc.) may be a great first step. The fingerstick devices can yield a great deal of information.

Just eat right, it's that simple. It's up to you to figure out what right is.
